The nearest airport is the International Airport of Geneva. Once you leave the baggage claim area, go to the left and walk straight ahead for 1-2 minutes until you reach the train station.

Train Station

The train ride from Geneva Airport to Lausanne lasts 45-60 minutes. You can book train tickets on the SBB website and download its app. Tickets tend to be slightly cheaper if you book them in advance on the app.

Metro & Bus in Lausanne

If you are going to stay in a hotel, you probably will have to pay for a little tourist tax.
This will grant you a public transportation pass that you can use for free
around Lausanne.

The best way to access campus is to take the Metro. Once you arrive at Lausanne

train station, the Metro station is located just across the road. Take the M2, direction

"Croisettes" and get off at "Lausanne Flon". Go up the stairs and take the M1. Then stay in the metro for ca. 10 minutes and get out at the station "UNIL – Chamberonne". Then follow the signs that will lead you to the campus.

To know times of departure, you can either use the SBB app or this website.

Parking

More information on parking on campus can be found here.
